ovarian cyst pain?

i have an ovarian cyst . and im in pain want can i do for the pain .? would a heating pad work please help.
i have all the pain killers and i cant get in to the ob/gyn until monday.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO TO YOUR DR.ADVIL DID NOT WORK FOR ME .I HAD A TORCHON(NOT THE CORRECT SPELLING)CYST. IT IS VERY PAINFUL AN MY DR GAVE ME LORITAB. BUT YOU NEED TO BE CHECKED MY DEAR.KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.
hm if u have an ovarian cyst u should go to ur gynec. he would get an ultrasound to c how big the cyst is and u may need a laparoscopy to remove the cyst b4 it get worse.
dont waste ntime go c ur doc.
Advil is your best friend.
I have these frequently and the only thing that has ever helped is Vioxx, which they don’t make anymore.
For me Advil works better than Vicodin.
Since this is not muscle pain, a heat pad probably won’t do anything for you.
If it gets too extreme you can ask your doctor for a prescription pain killer.

You can take some back pain reliever. That helps. Also, if possible restrict your movement. Sometimes laying in the fetal possion will help. Birth control pills help too. They will prevent the cysts from even forming.
It might be worth it to go to the e.r. My best friend put off seeing the doctor for a week and hers burst. She thought she was dying and to this day, (even after giving birth) the cyst bursting was the worst pain she’s ever experienced.
