i also suffered from ovarian cysts. the doctors wanted to put me on birth control, but i wanted to have a baby, so they put me on a drug called metformin. needles to say, the meds helped with the cysts and ovulation and i became pregnant 2 months later.
No! No! No! Please do not go on Birth Control, that screws up all your Hormones inside- Ask your Doc instead for Glucophage- If you start your Dose on that Medication, your PCOS will almost certainly dissolve. My best friend had the same problem and with in 2 years she had a Baby Boy and is pregnant again, Besides i tried it to in a small dose and then increased the milligrams, without fail, I was regular again- However you have to continue it!
First it is essential that you know what type of cyst you have. A follicular cyst usually goes away with time.
