Irregular period?
I got my period for the first time kind-of late (13 yrs old) and it has NEVER been regular. I know it’s normal to be irregular for a while in the beginning, but i’m 20 now and I still hardly get it more than 3 times a year.
I know it sounds like I’m lucky, but it lasts longer than normal when I do get it and it’s unpredictable. I also worry about how this will affect my ability to have children in the future.
I’m a healthy weight, have a balanced diet, have been tested for hormone irregularities and I have no ovarian cysts. I tried the pill for a while but I gained about 20 pounds in four months, so I stopped it. Even on the pill I was still irregular. Any ideas?
omg…!!! i have this same problem! i also got my period when i was 13, i am now 23 and i barely get my period also. when i do it’s crazy. cuz it last like a month or so! and it’s really heavy also. ugh! but i wonder the same thing if it will affect my ability to have children! and i am now trying to have a baby with my husband but: nothing so far! =[
see i believe u have to have a period to get pregnant! have u been checked for anaemia! because i have that and i just found out so i take iron pills. take iron pills daily. it should help! well, Hope i helped a little! good luck! can u please let me know how everything went with you?! =]
