Sprintec birth control for ovarian cyst? read please! help please!?

Yesterday I went to get my result for my sonogram and found out I had multi micro cyst on my ovaries so the doctor put me on birth control for three month and I am suppose to begin on a sunday and the brand name is sprintec, I wanted to know will this help the cyst dissolve and does it affect my possibilty of ever becoming pregnant which is my biggest concern, also is this a good birth control because I am very concern about the side effects it could cause.

Any medication has side effects, but if it is a widely used one they would be very minimal. Depending on what caused the cyst on your ovary will obviously affect how it will react to different treatment. If the cysts has been cause due to an ovulation problem then stopping ovulation will maybe help the problem. Perhaps you need to go back to your Doc and clarify about the treatment and get a leaflet about the drug to make up your mind properly. It really depends on why you got the cyst and what could happen if it isn’t treated.
hi,last month i went to the doc for dome test and found out that i have micro cysts in my ovaries. i have huge pain during ovulation and during periods. even this year i suffered everyday from migraines and back pain. i am concered because also 3 x a month i vomit in the morning, he put me on the pill now YAZ the name. hope i feel better. another concern is that i am gaining alot of weight every day. i cant control it.what can i do pleasE?
