I need rapid weight loss for my rapid weight gain!!! HELP?

what’s the best way to drop ten pounds quick? I gained 20 pounds in the past 2 months. I know it’s a lot. I got on birth control after having a ovarian cyst rupture and I ballooned up like a whale. I got off the birth control and started taking phentermine to suppress my apetite. I want to lose weight fast. What can I do to do this.

I know blah blah rapid weight loss is not healthy but when you have rapid weight gain that is not health either.

I wont go under 1,000 calories a day because if I do I get really weak and can not function.
So what foods should be eaten?
What kind of workout? Should I lift weights? Should I do 2 hours of cardio? (I can burn 1,300 in one cardio session) but idk if that’s going over board. Help!!!

Well, unhealthy isn’t the only issue here. Rapid weight loss isn’t permanent. That’s the problem. That’s why people go on crash diets, only to gain the weight back…usually a little more…when they stop the diet. Those crash diets work quick because they’re insane and unhealthy, meaning that you’ll have to stop the diet (or eventually die) and therefore gain weight back. That goes for phentermine as well. I used to sell supplements and people came in for stuff to help them lose weight. "I was taking phentermine," they’d say. "That stuff worked great but when I stopped taking it, I got fat again…and now my doctor won’t prescribe it to me so I’m in here." That’s how it always happens. Why? Because phentermine affects your body while you’re taking it. It doesn’t teach you how to make good choices with your food (type of food and amount), it doesn’t teach you to exercise several times a week.

I know you gained it rather quickly, but that doesn’t mean that OMG I HAF 2 LUZ IT NAO!!!11 That just means you have to lose it. So get on a real nutrition program and a real exercise program.

P.S. Birth control has been proven to not add significant weight, and I’ve had ovarian cysts rupture and gained no weight. Perhaps the pain just caused you to eat more and do far less, in which case the weight gain was due to that.

If the weight gain was due to hormonal fluctuations that caused you to retain water, for example (and this does happen sometimes), then getting rid of that hormonal fluctuation will rectify this. You already said you got off birth control. If getting off birth control didn’t fix it, then it wasn’t the birth control that caused it.
