Too many ailments to be unrelated… any suggestions?
Anyone:
I am getting really frustrated with diagnosis after diagnosis without an answer to my real question: why? I have been diagnosed with the following (and take the following medications accordingly):
-celiac disease
-complex ovarian cysts (Yasmin)
-asthma (Advair)
-episodes of sinus tachycardia (Metoprolol)
I am an otherwise healthy 23 year old female who follows a strict GF diet and exercises at least one hour daily, religiously.
My cardiologist has no answers for my heart rhythm issues. I had a normal heart rate (65-70) and one day 2 months ago, I experienced chest pain, palpitations, and a racing heart (110-140). I have had almost every test available and they all have come back normal. My 24-hour Holter monitor showed unexplained episodes of increase heart rate (up to 145). I also seem to be retaining water for unexplained reasons.
I do not think that everything is unrelated. Is there a bigger issue? It just doesn’t feel right.
Thank you…
I do not have an answer for you although I do know that your are too young to being having the multiple symtoms that you have.
Medication only masks problems. They do not heal or get rid of the ailment. They just trick you body into thinking everything is fine. If you are exercising everyday, it sounds like there is more to this. Water retention – have those kidney’s checked.
Get a second opinion. Go to a well respected clinic- hospital and have them do every test in the book that corrilates with your symptoms – the internet is an excellent site to check out hoespitals.
Good Luck to you!
