my mom is seventy seven years old and has a ovarian cyst?
that is 7 centimeters and she has gained alot of weight the doctor told her its not from the cyst because it is small and she keeps gaining weight all over do you think its possible its from the cysts are is she just eating her junk food to much.
A cyst that is 7 cm sounds pretty big. The weight issue could be related to the cyst depending on what kind of a cyst it is.
I would recommend that she get another opinion, preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor that she goes to for care, to see what they say.
