ovarian cyst?
So, several months ago i went to the doctor and got diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. It hasn’t gone away and the amount of symptoms has increased alot. I went on birth control but it isn’t helping. i have the following symptoms:
pressure, fullness, or pain in the abdomen
dull ache in the lower back and thighs
problems passing urine completely
weight gain
painful menstrual periods and abnormal bleeding
nausea or vomiting
breast tenderness
and then it said
If you have these symptoms, get help right away:
pain with fever and vomiting
sudden, severe abdominal pain
faintness, dizziness, or weakness
rapid breathing
and i have everything but the rapid breathing. my problem is that my mom won’t let me go anywhere to get this checked out to see what i should do. so do you think maybe going to the school nurse would help me to get this checked out further? also, any advice on what i should do? (i’m in 9th grade)
Go to the nurse and tell her your concerns. She can either ease your mind or can call your mom and tell her you need further treatment.
your mom won’t take you back to the dr??? if your mom refuses to take you back to the dr. definitely go to your school nurse and tell her! you need to get that taken care of!!
That’s very odd that your mom isn’t there for you and get that taken care of unless you guys don’t have the money or insurance. It sounds like it’s big enough for you to get it removed since you can’t really pass urine. The only thing I can think of is going to a women’s clinic or Planned Parenthood and see if they can do anything for you.
