Definately talk to the school nurse. If she finds your symptoms as serious as you say they are and you need medical help right away she would probably get you to the hospital. Explain to her that your mom won't take you to a doctor and she will help you out.

My parents are the same way, my sympathies. Get well soon.

If you have ovarian cysts why did your doctor put you on birth control....? My doctor refused to put me on birth control due to the fact that the hormones in BC can add to the problems associated with ovarian cysts. Its not uncommon to have a cyst grow slightly while a woman is ovulating but when she is diagnose with cysts on her ovaries its the best to not take birth control.

I would recommend to get off birth control ASAP. if thats your only form of BC you need to use condoms because if you got pregnant while you have an ovarian cyst, the likelihood of miscarrying is 4x higher than the average miscarriage statistics. I would seriously talk to you doctor. Especially if you are feeling the way you do.

If your mom wont bring you, you can always make an appointment at planned parent hood and they can treat you without your mothers permission.

Good Luck Sweety

My sympathies to you, I get ovarian cysts from time to time and I know how uncomfortable they can be. =( I would definitely suggest going to your school nurse - if your symptoms are as bad as you say they are, she aught to be able to talk some sense into your mother. Good luck!

Why won't your Mom let you get checked out? Go to your school nurse tell her your problem tell the nurse that you want to see a gyno but your Mom doesn't want you to,maybe she can talk to your Mom and she'll hopefully agree to have you see a gyno.
I had an ovary removed several months ago, I had a cyst it kept shrinking then it stayed and grew bigger each month then like you I had pain in my abdomen, thighs, legs, that is telling you it will not go away and you have to get it taken out, that is what my gyno told me.
If you have pain , fever , vomitting suden severe abdominal pain go to the ER I don't mean to scare you but you could have an infection starting or sometimes the cyst will rupture and the falopian tube ends up twisting which sometimes can cut off the blood supply and you may need emergency surgery tell your Mom this is why you have to get checked out.
God bless You!

yes i would tell your mom this is a serious problem and is very painful. i have had one and they are not fun. I wasnt on birth control pills at all but still it hurt. i would suggest u go into the nurse and explaine it to them. Does your parents have enough money to take u in. Cause i have a friend that her parents dont have money to take her in either. So i understand your point there. If u need someone to chat with go ahead and email me or whatever i could help u from there or just someone to chat with
