I can’t lose weight, what to do?

About 2 years ago I lost 30 lbs. And then I gained all but 10 of it back. I’ve tried so hard to loose weight this past year and haven’t lost any. I recently found out I have an ovarian cyst and ever since then I’ve gained weight. It’s hard for my to exercise. I can like bike and stuff but don’t have one but it hurts when I run because of the pressure on my knees ( I have bad knees) and cant lift a lot on one shoulder because of a previous surgery. What can I try?

You might talk to your local Weight Watcher leader. The first meeting is free and he or she can set you up with a plan that works. I know. I lost 50 lbs. with them when I thought it was impossible.

I would say eat as much as Thai, Korean, and Japanese food as you can for all of your meal!!!

Thai and Korean food is spicy and it will make you swet, and Japanese food is tiny so you can’t have a big meal!!!

NO NO NO CHINESE!!!! CHINESE FOOD IS FULL OF FAT IN THE US UNLIKE REAL CHINESE FOOD IN CHINA

You just have to remember it is not what you eat it is how much eat.

The easiest way to lose weight is to reduce your calorie intake and up your activity level. Calorie Count is a great website to do this and is similar to what weight watchers online is but its free. If you can’t run, just add more walking opportunities like parking further away from stores, work, etc.

it depends where you live. U can power walk but the best is to go to a beach and walk with your knees high in water about your knee high. it is hard so take ur time. Not only looses weight but also works ur legs out too!!!!!

    1) Work with a physical therapist to get your shoulder back up to speed
    2) Start adjusting your diet
    3) Try swimming/water jogging – it’s easier on your joints
    4) Try to walk lightly. You don’t have to run – just walk. Build up your strength.

Basically, get a PT and a trainer and see where you can go. See a doctor about pain management and for treatment.

Do you realize that when you burn calories, your muscles are the ones that are utilizing fat in your body and burning them?

Do light weight training 30minutes a day then jog or walk 30 minutes after. Gaining back happens if you just do cardio only because your body lacks muscles. You won’t get buff from lifting 10-15lbs.

Girls who run on the treadmill only gain their weight back so easily if they stop running for a few weeks because their body lacks muscle fibers that burn muscles. IF YOU RUN FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, you break down muscles. THAT’S why it’s better to run in intervals like 15-30minutes a day after a light weight training.
And consume less carbs and eat more lean meats.
Proteins don’t get you fat but lean.
