How do I relieve the pain from an ovarian cyst?
I ended up going to the hospital and found out I have PID *pelvic inflammatory disease* and an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. What can I do to stop the pain from the cyst? They gave me percocet but I don’t want to take medicines all the time. Will it go away? It’s 2 cm I believe.

Your cyst however will either go away or might require surgery to remove it. Gynecologist will normally wait and monitor your cyst for a couple of cycles, and if it does not go away they will either give your birth control pills to control the ovulation so the cyst will stop growing and fade or they will remove it.
As for the PID, it can be cured with anti-biotics, most likely mentronidazole and another antibiotic. However, depending on how you got it, you should be careful. If you got PId and were sexually active then, you most likely got it through an STD. Most doctors will likely be convinced you have an STD if you are active and have PID, since PID is normally cause by an STD untreated. However if you are not active, I am sorry. Most likely your doctor will not believe you, but you probably got from the cyst or a really bad infection. But cheer up, when treated properly PID goes away , and with the right procedure so does the cyst.
