Ovarian cyst… or not? In pain!?

I went to the ER yesterday because I thought I had a kidney stone but the doctor said it was a ruptured ovarian cyst. He sent me home with pain meds and thats all they can do; however, I still think its a kidney stone. It hurts more when I pee, and it also hurts more when I have gas moving around in my tummy that I’m about to pass.

Did any one else have this and did it hurt more when they urinated???
I would go back to the ER but we had to wait there for SO long and I have a 5 week old baby so its just a huge hassle. Maybe I’ll go to my regular doctor tomorrow.

I would go to another doctor.

When I had my cyst I had a lot of pain on that side and it hurt to walk, but it didn’t hurt to pee or pass gas. After it ruptured I was still in pain for about 2 days. You may have had a cyst that ruptured and they saw that and overlooked a kidney stone.

I would go to your doctor and inform him/her of what you said on here.

Also, can ovarian cysts prevent pregnancy? I am ttc for 17 months, and I had a cyst/still do. Could that be preventing me from becoming preggers?
