I have an ovarian cyst and sharp pains? What should I do?
I found out i had and ova cyst on my right ovary. I haven’t felt much pain from it. Even when I came on my period I never felt any pain (which is odd because my periods without cyst are usually painful).
But today I keep feeling these odd pains in my lower right abdominal and this really sharp pain (that I get when sitting down or moving) I get in the left lower area of my back. this pain in my back is what concerns me because I don’t remember this kind of pain with my last cyst and it feels like someone keeps cutting my back with a knife.
What shall I do?

you need to get checked out asap
it may be because you know about it or it could be something else going on - stand firm and dont let the professionals intimidate you - you are in your body not them and you obviously think something is not right - if it was me i would insist on a scan asap (ie not in 6 months time ) and dont let them send you home with pain killers until you are happy that your fine X
check with your doc — my wife had hers surgically removed.
(the cysts, not the ovaries)
I have them to and endometreosis. I got really bad stabbing pains also. A lot of that could be that the cyst has ruptured (popped). That’s what my doctor told me when I had those pains.
I just found out that I have an ovarian cyst too. And just like yours, mine is on the right side, and came with a lot of pain, I experienced all the symtoms you mentioned, now it feels much better, I didnt do anything to it, I just left. I am seeing my OBGYN tommorow, to follow up on an ultra sound I did. I hope I have good news, I will share what comes up with you. Wish you the best.
This will get some interresting comments haha
