Pain from ovulation or Ovarian cyst?

I have PCOS, and for the first time EVER I got a positive opk the day before yesterday. Yesterday I felt crampy nothing big. Tonight I have pain in my right ovary like it’s being poked by needles. I just recently came off the pill because they were not helping my ovarian cysts. My questilon is…could this be a legit ovulation that is causing pain, or is it the stupid ovarian cyst. I don’t want to get my hopes up if it’s a sham. Please help me! Thank you
Some people do report cramping and ovarian pain during ovulation. As you came off the pill recently it could be normal for you as your hormones are still adjusting without the pill. If you are too worried I would say see your doctor. Good luck!
I have the understanding that pain can contribute to ovulation, although it can also mean other things….im crossing my fingers for you. Baby Dust.
