The pain from it twisting will be unbearable--drop you to your knees, can't stop crying, want to die, horrible. It will also be accompanied by severe nausea. Definitely go back and see your doctor. The ER sent me home twice, the second time with those symptoms. Two days later my gyno decided to do surgery and discovered my poor ovary dying and had to remove it. Good luck! Today my ob/gyn measured the size of my cyst on the right side- 7mm. Its grown almost double and she wants to test it for cancer. I once had my cyst drained . It was a minor procedure. As for what it feels like. I have this horrible dull throbbing pain on my right side, goes down to the middle of my thigh and even the back. I am tired of popping pain killers. As for if its twisting or rupture. i think the pain will be so unbearable that you will know you need to go to the ER. I am 33 and have cysts for a very long time.
