Could this pain be from my ovarian cyst?

I have ovarian cyst and i’m on birth control i took it when it felt like my period was coming so i would not menstruate but i had intercourse with my fiance and i’ve been having severe pain since and i started bleeding two days after or what seems to be my period.
It sounds like it could be both actually. During intercourse, did the pain start? If so, did it feel like a branding iron was being put on your insides? Is the pain better when you are somewhat bent over and worsen when you stand up straight? I had several cysts, years ago, and intercourse was very painful, and would be afterward for a while. Then I had some of those cysts burst, and that was excruciating. One way or the other, I would call my Dr. as soon as possible, I think you need to be seen. If it is the cysts, he needs to know about it, if it is your period, and you took something to stop it and it came anyway, he needs to know that as well. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon
when i had cysts i was in so much pain i had 2 go 2 the hospital. they said mine ruptured. so if i was u i would go c a dr.
