How would a tipped uterus affect me?
I went to my first gyno exam the other day. Actually it was about a week ago. Full gyno exam, pap smear and all that. Umm…is it normal to still be experiencing pain/soreness/cramps down there a full week later? I’m also told I have a tipped uterus. How will that affect my ability to get pregnant? I’ve been taking progesterone-only pills to help with possible ovarian cysts (I was cramping a little when I got in there, I thought I was pregnant, but the pee test was negative). I seem to be gaining weight. Is it normal for it to happen that quickly? And if I were pregnant, would she have noticed it when she was…feeling around in there? Or would she have missed it because of the whole tipped uterus thing? If I were, I’d be 3 months along, just about. Either that or 4 weeks…anyway…what do you think? Would I be showing by now if I were? Or would a tipped uterus change that too?
A tipped uterus can make it more difficult to get pregnant. My bff has a tipped uterus and she tried for 20 months before getting pregnant.
If you are more than a few weeks pregnant (a month or more) your Dr would be able to tell w/an exam. Also, have you take a hpt test? If you are more than a few days late for your period, a hpt should be accurate. GL!
