My period is nine days late?

Im 15 years old, a virgin, and my period is nine days late. I know that my body is still trying to get regular but the thing that is worrying me is that my right groin hurts. I think that the pain could be my ovary and im wondering if i have an ovarian cyst.
I have researched some of the symptoms and it said gaining weight, and i have gained about 5 pounds the last two weeks (sucks, huh?)
Im really worried. Could this be an ovarian cyst or am i just over-reacting?

I’m not quite sure what is causing your period to be late or the pain, but it’s always best to check with your doctor.
