i keep gettin ovarian cysts. motrin, advil or any of that does not help the pain. after my periods they still dont go away and i tried birth control too. i dont want to have laprascopic surgery again. what can i do to ease the pain or is there anything i can do to help myself?
Unfortunately, I understand what you’re going through. A few years ago I had to have my ovary and falopian tube removed because of cysts, and to my dismay, I am in that boat again(cysts I mean, and I am terrified!) . If you’re like me, and cannot affort healthcare, it’s a nightmare. In fact, that was the reason it got so bad they had to remove it because it was not detected in time. Got so big…OMG…I almost died.
Anyway (I’m babbling) if you have the means to, definately insist that the doctor find a way to fix your problem! I certainly hope you don’t end up in the situation I was. If surgery is the answer, then so be it, there are worse things really. In the meantime, try a lot of heat (that’s helped me a lot). Hot baths, or a heating pad. Tell your doctor you need something stronger. He may prescribe vicodine (careful, don’t get hooked…it’s easy to) or something better than over the counter candy. lol
Seriously though, don’t take the chance of your cysts developing into cancer. It happens to millions, and in many cases can be prevented.
I wish you the best of luck sweetie! I hope all turns out well!!!!!
hi ask Dr as you have had surgery once you might need it again
if you dont see Dr you could end up with cancer
be safe and good luck
I had to have all of my surgically removed I completely understand the not wanting surgery thing again I had 5 surgeries all to remove cysts, Talk to your talk ask for something stronger and go in for a check up the can do an ultrasound to see whats going on in there! Hugs to you and good luck!
