What kind of pain should i expect with an ovarian cyst?

I’m freaking out because last month I found out I had an tiny ovarian cyst on my right ovary after i got my period for the first time again in 3 months (it’s irregular) and I didn’t even know.
The doctor had the nerve to shrug it off! Now, I’m very worried. I wanted to know if I’m going to lose an ovary or not?
I’m scared senseless.
Also, what pain should i expect? What is normal and what isn’t?
when should i see a doctor?
How long would it stay here? Thanks.
You can get a second opinion if it will make you feel better. I used to have ovarian cyst’s that came and went with my cycle. They can be painful. But mine were never so bad that I needed them removed. My doctor explained that it was due to my hormones.
I honestly wouldn’t worry too much unless you start having agonizing pain. That would not be normal. Good luck hun!
Time for a second opinion, they are not supposed to be like that, and they can grow to the size of cantaloupes. I would suggest you seeing another doctor.
I had cysts in my uterus and they were getting bigger and bigger and making all of my periods very painful as I continued to have my uterus in.
I had a vaginal hysterectomy, and I have not regretted having it done!!!
Talk about being pain free!!
I suggest you get another opinion, that does not sound normal, and they can keep growing if left undetected.
