ovarian cyst on right ovary severe pain?

hi im 17 years old and a week ago i found out i had a 5 cm solid cyst on my right ovary i’ve been in pain for about 4 months can you belive they only found it last week…well they dont even know if its bleeding or not and my docotr said just wait for it to go away the problem is im in severe pain to the point where i dont want to move right now its an ongoing pain when i go to the bathroom when i lay down and sit down..do you think the doctors right for jsut letting me sit here in extreme pain for 6 weeks untill they check it again or should they remove it? please tell me what you think its greatly appreciated
get a second opinion. get pain meds. That doctor is doing nothing for you.
Be careful of such pain, you don’t want an incompetent doctor treat it wrong and wind up with cancer, not to scare you. If my instincts tell me I am not satisfied, I go to another doctor. I listen to my instincts. That is how I got my healing everytime.
My friend stayed with her doctor, loyal, too lazy to switch. I told her, her sister told her , go to another doctor. She only complained, made no changes. She is now dying of cancer. When it was too late, doctor said you have cancer, that’s it. He should have caught that 5 years ago.
Please don’t let that happen to you.
looking at a ruler 5 cm is as big as my little finger, how much bigger can an ovary be.
I would get 3 opinions if it were me. health issurance covers more than one opinion.
i had an ovarian cyst the size of a golf ball when they found it and i had it for 10 months. omg it hurt soo bad. i was crying and couldn’t move either and laid on the floor…they said that they really couldn’t do anything about it until it just went away or popped or whatever…
it makes me mad that there is nothing to do about it especially when the pain lasted for about 2 hrs…
when i was put on the pill it made it less likely for my cysts to come back and i haven’t had a "lying on the floor crying" days b/c of it since…
