what can the doctor do for my ovarian cyst problem?

I had really bad cyst pain earlier this week unable to get out of bed, went to the hospital before that and they kept me on ultram. The thing is my pains nearly gone now is there anything my doctor can do for the follow up? I’m hoping for pain medication only. I seem fine now and don’t think i need surgery and since I’m ttc I cant use birth control. Any ideas?

The doctor may want to do an ultrasound just to check on the cyst etc.
A lot of cysts resolve on their own and don’t cause future problems.
You need to dsicuss with your doctor your concerns etc.
You may also need to discuss any possible pain medications that you would like, but if you are trying to concieve, it might be best not to rely too much on too much of any pain meds

Just disuss your situation and concerns and see what the doctor suggests.
Be sure to tell him or her that you are trying to conceive.
    I wish you well.

I have a cyst in my ovary and I’ve had it there for years, my doctor controls it my me using birth control pills. Since you can’t use birth control, get an ultra sound and perhaps ask your doctor if it can be removed. Good luck.
