Implanon birth control….. implant? Any personal experience?

I was looking into getting the Implanon implant birth control next week… Anyone have any personal experience with it? I have tried just about every birth control out there and discovered that they all make me horribly sick! 
( like vomiting, nausea, ALL that. I was on the Nuvaring(which i LOVED) but it messed with my nerves SOOO bad it felt like my skin was constantly crawling. I would like to know if it has made anyone sick, gain weight, etc.
BTW: i have a 2 year old and would not mind having another child. The main reason I have been on birth controls is because I get Severe ovarian cysts that cause my period to be VERY irregular and pain. I DO NOT want the IUD. Thanks.
I had it in for two years. I never experienced any terrible side effects besides slight mood swings but there was A LOT of complication with removal and now there is questioning of my fertility so… I’d say go with a different method. /: Too much hassle.
I have it and for about the first 12 weeks I spotted off and on. I also got it 8 weeks post partum so that may have been a contributing factor.
I have no other side effects, however I have tried the pill and depo and suffered no effects from those either.
I had a friend use the Implanon, and it gave her horrible mood swings, some pain at ovulation and spotting through the month. Also, when they implanted it into her arm, they did it wrong and her muscles grew around it, to take it out would require surgery on her arm.
As with any birth control there is going to be the good and the bad, just gotta find out what works for you.

Hi my sister had the implanon implant and she had mood swings bad with it so i never wanted to try that, she never put weight on or never was sick, but its different for every one ive got IUD ive had 3 kids and the IUD works best for me ive tyred all pills and injection in my bum but that made me bleed none stop for 9 months so my last resort was IUD it was scary but wen it was put in i never felt a thing i had 2 painkillers an hour be four I went, "I heard that was meant to help and it did " Hope that helps a little
