Ovarian cyst??

Ended up in the ER last night for major abdominal pain. After 6 hours of them putting me though more pain just for them to tell me something I already knew, they sent me home. In Nov. I had a miscarriage and they found cysts on my left ovary. Of course the doctor told me not to worry about it. I have already had 2 laparoscopic surgeries removing cysts off my left ovary. Well last night they found the same cysts and my left ovary is swollen badly. All they did was give me so vicodin and send me home. My doctor says its nothing to be concerned about, but I want it to go away and it hurts so badly.
The question should I try another doctor and get a second opinion, or just listen to the doctor I already have and live with the pain?
Is it normal to have a cyst the size of a tangerine for 4 months?
When I was 18 they put me on BC to try and shrink some that I had at that time and It did nothing for me. They had to do surgery. After my first miscarriage I had surgery done to remove some more.
I would def. look for a 3rd & 4th opinion…
this is not a good thing at all.
A couple years ago,I was experiencing some probs and went to the docs…they found little cysts and told me not to worry..lalala I ended up going to Mexico and somehow the air pressure caused them little things to burst! I was rushed to the hosp by ambulance where they had to preform ermerg surgery on me to save my life due to inertnal hemmorging (in Mexcio!!) I lost over 2L of blood and nearly my life… (not to mention my falopian tube and right ovary)

Yeah, I definitely think you should get another doctor. If it hurts that bad, you should get another opinion on what to do about it.
Please be careful with this. I had a cyst, it was my twin actually, on my right ovary about the size of a medium sized orange. One day out of the blue it twisted and i lost the ovary and almost died. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! go see a specialist and prefferably an OBGYN that is a woman. Get 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions. I don’t want you to have to go through all that heart ache like i did. It was miserable.
