is there any risk for my baby, I have pain in my stomach. Can I lift or do work at home or I should rest?
How do you know if you have a cyst?
My last period was on Feb 27 and I had very light spotting on March 20th but have yet to get a period. I’ve been having some light cramping, frequent urination, minimal weight gain, back pains and sometimes my breasts feel sore. Could the symptoms be related to ovarian cysts. I’ve never had one before and my period is always on time. Any insight would be great.

I’ve got 2 – 3cm ovarian cysts that are giving me horrible pains in both sides of my stomach & i feel like i have bad period pains with the backache (no bleeding). I dont like fussing so try and avoid the doctors but does this all sound normal for a cyst? Thanks

I started last June with all the symptoms of pregnancy, sore breasts with veins popping up all over, yellow vaginal discharge mid cycle, weight gain. nausea. The thing is im not pregnant. I had an ovarian cyst removed thinking it was causing an imbalance in hormones. I still feel the same. I feel such fatigue at times with a constant vague nausea. I also bleed from my cervix irregulary. I have been drs. She just gave me vaginal swabs and a smear. came back normal. Had a test for hep b and hep c. negative and hiv neg. full blood test came back normal for thyroid also. My dr fobs me off now and wont do any more tests, but i know something isnt right

i have stomach pain during sex just an uncomfortable feeling but pain. and im trying to figure out if i could be pregnant or if i might have an ovarian cyst ive schedueled an appointment with my doctor but its a few weeks away and i want to find out which it could be?
Ovarian pain?
I’ve been having pain, I believe, in my ovaries. It started back in January-February (5-6 months ago), but then it was only on my right side. It has since moved to both sides. It doesn’t hurt constantly, usually only when I move or change positions, stand up or sit down, roll over in bed, etc. I had a baby in November and I still haven’t had my period since he was born, but I attributed that to the fact that I breastfeed him. I brought the pain up at a gyn appointment I had in April, but the nurse midwife told me that it was probably just some ovarian cysts and not to worry–that they would go away within a couple months. The pain has been getting worse and worse as time goes on, and I am getting concerned because it’s painful and not going away. I’m planning to go to a real gynecologist ASAP. I was just wondering if the pain really is from cysts or if there is more I should be thinking about. I’m 29.
Am I pregnant or paranoid?
This winter was really bad for me – I kept getting sick and was on so many different medications for tonsillitis and sinus infections on and off. I’ve been on birth control for about a year now, and I started them to prevent further ovarian cysts (I’ve had 2 rupture). Many of these meds I took had warnings on them saying that they might alter the effectiveness of my bc but I didn’t really pay attention. My boyfriend and I continued having sex with my bc as our only form of contraceptive. But I’ve been getting my periods when I should, and except for one day last month when I dropped my pill on the floor and lost it, I’ve taken my pill every night and at the same time. So I wasn’t really worried and I didn’t have pregnancy on the brain. I am two weeks into this cycle.
But since last week I’ve noticed my body has been a little weird. I thought that I had a sinus infection again because I’m congested, but I’ve also been nauseous, tired, bloated, gassy (that’s gross I know, but it is abnormal for me and worth noting), noticed that I’ve gained weight, have weird vaginal discharge, and have had to pee more. I really don’t want to sound paranoid and freak out my boyfriend (whom I know would stand by me and be a great father if I did end up being pregnant). I don’t know what to do though. Today I bought a pregnancy test but it was negative. I guess the next logical step would be to go to a doctor for a blood test but I feel so paranoid because I know birth control pills are 99% effective when taken correctly. Maybe I have a sinus infection and am making up the other symptoms in my head? Should I wait to see if the symptoms go away before going to the doctor? A concern I have here is that I’m still taking my birth control pills, and if I’m pregnant that could potentially harm the baby. I’m just so confused. Is there a tell-tale symptom I should be looking for?

It was painful( kind of like a pressure feeling) in my abdomen. I dindt have enough money to get the surgery or any medication so for now i use ibuprofen to temporarily relieve my pains. Lately, i havent been having as much pain…its actually been kind of pain free, and if there is pain it is very mild pain not lasting for hours. Has my cyst shrunk? Is there a way that I can tell that it has shrunk. I havent missed a period either since i had this cyst. But now i was due for my period 2 days ago and its not here. I have had unprotected sex so theres a possibility i may be pregnant(yes! because i’ve been trying) how long does it take for a cyst to "shrink" naturally?
What is wrong with my body?
I am in my late 20′s and have had two children born 12 months and 3 weeks apart. I breast fed both children but haven’t nursed in approximately six months. I have had irregular periods since my son was born last year and have been using condoms to prevent having another child. Because I didn’t know I was pregnant with my son until I was about 5 months along, I have been taking monthly pregnancy tests. I have been feeling movement in my abdominal area for a few months and have chalked it up to postpartum after having been pregnant for two years. Recently, my breasts have started leaking milk and feel very full, as if I need to pump. I have gained weight for no reason and actually look like I have a classic baby bump forming. I have had constant cramping since the beginning of March 2011 and my period was about two weeks late. I took an ept and it came back positive. I scheduled an appointment with my doc for an ultrasound, but couldn’t get in for two weeks. About a 1 1/2 weeks ago I started bleeding but it was more like spotting but there were two days when it was more (but still not a lot) and it was bright red. The cramping is mostly on the right side and sometimes it is severe and other times I can live with it, but I am constantly cramping. When I finally went for my ultrasound this last week, the doc couldn’t find anything. He looked with the wand twice and did a pelvic exam. Nothing. He told me to come back in three weeks and if I have severe cramping to go to the ER. Back in February I was treated for a kidney infection and I have never had a UTI in my life. I have had an ovarian cyst rupture when I was younger. But I am very concerned as to what is going on.
Does anyone have any ideas or have you experienced any of the same symptoms??

Can you get pregnant with an ovarian cyst?
I have 2 ovarian cyst one on each side i have gain a lil weight, i have lower back pain and some abdominal pain. what are my chances of getting pregnant? I have also took 4 pregnancy test and they were all negative but it does say in the instructions that they can cause "unexpected results"
no no no u got it all wrong i dont want to get pregnant and the er doctor said that i dont need to it was a result of coming off my birth control and i need to follow up with my gyn
any one have surgery for ovarian cyst?
I have an ovarian cyst that has been causing me alot of pain the last week or so. Doctors tell me I need to have surgery to have it removed since it’s about 10cm big. I have never had surgery before so I am really nervous and don’t know what to expect. They say it will be an outpatient surgery. Has anyone had surgery for this problem before? What happened before and after? How long did it take to heal? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I went to the ER today to severe cramps and back pain. They say that I have a ovarian cyst.Is that bad?
I am only 24 years old and I am scared because I am TTC and a ovarian cyst sounds very scary. The doctors at the ER were not very helpful at all they just told me to follow up with my OB/GYN tomorrow. They didn’t even explain what the condition is. PLEASE HELP ME
Would a 2cm ovarian cyst be causing this much pain?
Hi everyone. I’m 14 years old and nearly 4 weeks ago i started having pain on my right side. It’s been getting worse and worse. The first time i went to the doctor was a week after it started, and they did blood work and sent me home. Last week the pain started getting unbareable so they did more labs and did an ultrasound to make sure its not my appendix. Turns out i have a 2cm cyst on my LEFT ovary.
1) is this big enough to cause this bad of pain? I havent done anything but layed around in pain for 3 weeks
2)Can a left side cyst cause pain on the right side? I barely hurt on the left but it feels like theres a knife stuck in the right.

Can an ovarian cyst still cause pain after it goes away?
I’ve had slowly increasing abdominal pain that came and went daily for about a month, and was finally so concerned that I went to the doctor at my school who wouldn’t treat abdominal pain and advised that I go to the hospital.
After several tests at the hospital,including two kinds of ultrasounds, they told me that I had an ovarian cyst, gave me some vicoden for the pain (which didn’t help at all by the way) and told me to get checked out by a gyno soon.
It’s been about a week and I went to the gyno today, still in a great deal of pain, but after another ultrasound he said that he didn’t see any sign of a cyst and thinks I may have pulled a muscle.
Is it possible that the cyst was reabsorbed but is still causing me a great deal of pain? It’s mainly concentrated on my right ovary, but I also feel some in the general womb area, the left ovary, in my stomach and on my side. I feel bruised all the time, with random stabbing pains (especially on the right ovary) and I don’t know what else to do from here. He suggested heat for the muscle, but I’ve been using a heating pad before seeing him due to the pain and nothing has helped. I can barely even sleep from the pain.
Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
I don’t have any of the symptoms of polycystic, so I don’t think it can be that :/
