I do not have health insurance yet, I’m waiting to hear back from a few places before I choose,so I can’t go to the doctor yet. Ovarian cyst and cancer runs in my family and was wondering if anybody knows what this could be. My husband and I are ttc month 5 now and I normally have a 30 day cycle. A few months ago it switched to a 33 day cycle. Well this month I was 4 days late and thought I was pregnant well then af came and that was that. Well, now a week after I got off my period I can tell I’m ovulating by the cm, I can always tell when I’m ovulating by the cm. I have also been very bloated, over the weekend, I haven’t eaten more than normal, my work pants have gotten snug and I have been gaining weight. I have had migraines or at least a headache every day, I have a cold now and was feeling like I was going to throw up. I go from hot to cold all the time, and every time I brush my teeth or use any form of mouth wash it makes me gag to the point where I’m dry heaving. I have been using the bathroom a little bit more and sometimes it’s just very little that comes out. Does anybody know what this could be at all. I’m worried about myself and until I finalize my insurance I can’t go to the doctor and would like some piece of mind.
I also am not on birth control and have not been on bc in over 3 years. I also have taken preg. test and they came out neg.

Our daughter, almost 24, has had some bleeding on and off for over a month. She takes Seasonique (3 month birth control) to control the symptoms of her endometriosis (diagnosed by laproscopy 4 years ago). She has taken it for almost 3 years and has been very pleased with the reduction in the amount of pain from the endometriosis.
Suddenly in January, pain on her left side increased greatly and the on and off bleeding began. She had an appointment with her OB/GYN who said it may have been due to the endometriosis. She managed to deal with the pain up until last week when, during the night, she has some take-your-breath-away pain on her left side which went on for a couple hours. 2 days later, she felt a "pop" on her left side and had a gush of heavy bleeding for 2 hours. The pain increased throughout the day until she eventually went to the emergency room as it was after hours at her OB/GYN and they couldn’t do anything to immediately see her. They weren’t able to do to an ultrasound at the ER (small town hospital) but scheduled one for 2 days later. The dr. who did an internal exam said the left side felt "full".
On Tuesday she had the ultrasound and everything in her ovaries and uterus looked normal. She saw her OB/GYN again today and she says it could have been a cyst that ruptured, or it could be a flare-up of endometriosis. The pain is sometimes sharp, and the rest of the time she says it feels like there is a curling iron burning inside, on the left side. Her dr. would like to give her a Lupron shot, if it is endometriosis, to throw her into menopause. This seems like an unwise thing to do if it was a ruptured cyst since Lupron won’t help with that and it’s not even clear if it really helps reduced endometriosis pain.
If you have had an ovarian cyst rupture, what were the symptoms before, during and after? How bad was the pain and how long did the pain last afterwards? If you have endometriosis, have you tried Lupron? Did it help?

To make a long story short I was experiencing extreme stomache problems recently and my docotr refered me to a Gastronologist. In turn he sent me to have a CT done on top of blood work and fecal x3. They were looking for parrasites or colitus. I got a call about my CT and they informed me that I have ovarian cysts. Which may have actually explained a lot of prior ailments I have experienced over the past couple of years ( I’m 21 now ) They at one point thought I had appendicitis and could not turn up anything when they sent me to the hospital so they sent me home. I have the same pain on the same side STILL I have my period ( or just bleeding ) 75-80 % of the month and pain in the back of my legs and stomache area. ( this has been going on for about 3 years now )I haven’t really gained much weight nor can I eat much, but my stomache is still growing larger and I constanly feel nauseas and tired. I’m worried about the "c" word a little bit even though it is a bit more rare. On both side of my family both sides have had a very bad track record for the "c" word. My dads mom had polups, my dad’s sister has uterine cancer AND ovarian cancer. My mom has polycystic ovaries and her sister had ovarian cancer and had to remove everythng giving her a severe hormonal imbalance ( which eventually led to her suicide ). My mom’s brother was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer as well. I am of Irish and Armenian Decent if that helps. My question is what do you think the gyno will do or suggest when I go to see them? I’ve been on birth control to no avail. And I am currently not sexually active because of the pain I have from intercourse. Please help me answer this to the best of your ability. Thanks.
I am not worrying myself to death over it being the "c" word. like I said in the text I know it is rare for someone my age to suffer from ovarian cancer . I simply stated that many of my family members 1st and secondly have had cancer in such regions which would make me more subseptible to it. And I know that genetics plays a big role in such matters. Would you have prefered if I spared that information? Which wold lead to a less valid set of info to base your response off of. I already know that I have multiple cysts. The CT scan showed that. I just wonder how long I have had them if I have felt like this for 3 years now and why they didn’t find it sooner considering that they check for my appendix with a scan and was having the same pain at the time in the same spot. If I’m worried about anything it would be them cutting me open to take it out, the risk of not being able to bear children later on, or the cysts rupturing. Thats all.
