I just want to see what you all think these symptoms could be, so far the only thing I have found is ovarian cyst, but I want to know if there is anything more that have the same symptoms. Thanks.
My mother has been suffering this pain for almost two years, the doctors keep sending her for exams and more exams, but we never get a response, she is tired of all this and really can’t take it anymore. The doctors keep telling her that there’s nothing, but if there was nothing, why is she suffering so much. I would like to gather up some ideas that maybe the doctor could look for, rather than her to go and they figure it out. Anyways, thanks, any ideas is appreciated.
Symptoms:
Severe pain continually
A sensation of pressure or fullness in the lower abdomen or pelvis
Pelvic pain during menstrual periods
Pelvic pain following sexual intercourse
Vaginal spotting or pain
Pressure or pain when urinating or having a bowel movement
Nausea and vomiting
Weight gain(swallow/inflated)
Aches in the thighs and lower back
Constant Urination
Breast tenderness

pain, very mild, started saturday last week. it would come and go during the day. it was on my lower left abdomen/pelvis. then wednesday, had to pee every 30 mins with constant pain there on my lower left and would be relieved after peeing. that lasted 1/2 the day. then friday, my lower left back ached a bit when i had to pee….relieved after peeing. only happened like 3 times. now today my right is starting to hurt a little. my left has been bothering me daily every few hrs. not sure if i have a UTI, cyst or what, but i am going to doc tomorrow….any ideas? my period was 5 days early about 2 weeks ago, so doubt i am pregnant. urinating doesnt hurt or burn. also before last saturday was drinking soda, barely any water. since then, been drinking water and cranbury juice.

Okay for the last month I noticed I have been constantly bloated. It just all of a sudden happened one day. 2 weeks after the bloating started I got a sharp, stabbing pain on my left side right next to the pelvic bone. I have only gained maybe 3 pounds. My pants are fitting tighter. I am only bloated in my stomach area, no where else. I was worried I was gaining weight, so I cut calories and started working out for the last 2 weeks. I have lost no weight, my side still hurts (by my pelvis) and I am still bloated. I was worried so I took a pregancy test, it came out negative. I am on birth control and take it religiously. So what else could it be…I looked up my symptoms on WebMD and found things like ovarian cysts and cancer…has anyone else had this problem before?
By the way I am 22 years old, I have 2 kids already, and am not overweight. I also have a doctors appointment on Thursday, I was just wanting to see what someone else thought.

I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary to rupture yesterday. The pain was so debilitating and excruciating that I was rushed to the ER for fear of appendicitis. After a CT scan, they saw that I had a lot of fluid around my pelvis and still had a cyst of about 3.1 cm (which means it burst, but it has still not fully ruptured). While I am not in the excruciating pain I was yesterday, I am still in pain. How long does the pain of a ruptured ovarian cyst typically last?

Your Question
Can someone inform me about ovarian cysts?
Hi, I’m hoping that someone who has had ovarian cysts, PCOS, or something related can provide me with some advice…
I didn’t get my period from June 14 through October 18. I went to my student health center (at my college) and had some tests done, ruled out pregnancy and thyroid abnormalities, but showed that I had low FSH levels. The nurse practitioner suggested I get tested for PCOS but since the most likely reason for my missed periods was my recent weight loss, I figured it would just be better to see if my period becomes regular after I worked to gain some weight and then decided whether to get the test done.
Well, I got my period in October, but then it hasn’t come in November. Instead, I’m getting these random, but very mild throbbing pains in my pelvis and thighs as well as persistent mild aches in my hands. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative so I’m going to get this checked out, but somehow the nurse’s conclusion (that I may have PCOS) doesn’t seem likely to me since I don’t fit any of the symptoms: Not obese (in fact I’m a little underweight), no abnormal hair growth or loss, nothing of that sort.
So I was just wondering if it is normal for women to have these kinds of problems. Are ovarian cysts common? What do they feel like?
I would really appreciate any advice you can give me.

I had an ultrasound done about a month ago to determine the cause of my pelvic pain. They found a cyst that is 5×6cms, and I have another ultrasound in 2 weeks to see if it has reduced in size or gotten bigger. I am due to get my period tomorrow, and am having severe, sharp pains in my pelvis. I know ovarian cysts can cause pain, but is it normal to have sharp pain very low in the pelvic area? It feels like it is almost right inside my vagina, not near the ovaries. This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten this pain; every few months I get it at the start of my period, but last month, the pain continued for a long time, so that is why I went to the doctor about it. So really my question is whether this pain is because of the cyst, or is it likely to be being caused by something else? Thanks.

i have been suffering from terrible tailbone pain for about 2 months. I went to 2 doctors and they said I most likely had a cyst on my tailbone but it was too far under the skin to lance so each gave me different antibiotics and pain meds and that was it. After about a month, i went to a 3rd doctor who said the same thing, but referred me to a surgeon to have it removed since i was in so much pain. surgeon said no cyst, sent me for an mri of pelvis. mri shows nothing wrong at all with my tailbone but ovarian cysts and possible PID, lots of free fluid. THEY callled my ob gyn (same one for 7 yrs) and he scheduled me an appt a month & 1/2 from now. 2 weeks ago i couldnt take it went to er, they did an ultrasound confirming the cysts etc, gave me pain meds, antibiotics thats it. cant bear the pain anymore but cant get in to my doc any sooner. has anyone else had tailbone pain with ovarian cysts or do you think it could be something else? what other action can i take? i am miserable

Need help. Burning/throbbing pain in upper abdomen/back/chest. Very severe. 1st attack was a couple weeks before I found out I was pregnant in 2006. Left until 12/07 and ongoing. I had my gall bladder removed, no relief. Was put on nexium, librax, and carafate. I cannot find a corralation between pain and foods, but chaged my diet anyway. CT scans, MRI, angiogram all normal - did find ovarian cyst and fluid in pelvis, but no pelvic pain. Pain comes 1-4x per week, can last for 15 minutes to days. Intermittant, comes and goes throughout day. No pain reliver can help except morphine in the hospital - kinda feels like back labor. Help!
i have numerous doctors appts coming up for everything and a colonoscopy in october. reflux has been ruled out but i do have mild gastritis and have had h pylori. liver enzymes have been high - also numbness/tingling in finger tips - its a mystery
