Please help Will my ovarian cyst gone if my period regular again?

I was always regular until the birth of my first and I gain weight, me period always 2 weeks late. I got it check and doc found 3.5cm ovarian cyst. My question is, If i lost weight, maintain healthy life style and have a regular period, can my cyst disappear? Thanx. Please help.
